Last January, developer and landlord Scannell Properties positioned the first concrete pier for the new warehouse. The new location has a total area of 23,500 m² and offers storage space for 300,000 tyres and approx. 100,000 rims. There is also space here for the own brands itWheels and itSense (TPMS) as well as for the assembly of complete wheels on behalf of customers.
The new warehouse also impresses in terms of sustainability. It will have an innovative local heating system with lower energy requirements. Renewable energy sources include wood chips, a photovoltaic system on the roof, grey water and rainwater harvesting systems. LED lighting will be installed throughout the building, which is also highly energy efficient.
